Dear our wonderful patients,
As the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) has evolved, The Dental Practice has unfortunately due to Government regulation had to close until further notice. The safety of our staff, patients and community is our biggest priority during this difficult time. The personal protective equipment (PPE) provided is insufficient to stop aerosols being transmitted. Thus, we are unable to operate.
If you require emergency dentistry, please contact Sydney Dental Hospital or Westmead Centre for Oral Health. Links are provided below.
Sydney Dental Hospital: https://www.slhd.nsw.gov.au/OralHealth/patients_contacts.html
All other emergency enquiries should be communicated via email ONLY. The contact email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Your enquiries will be attended to the best we can during this time.
Australia Dental have brought out guidelines on what urgent dental treatment involves. It involves managing conditions that cause significant pain, infection or impact on patient health and well-being.
- Significant dental pain, usually affecting sleep
- Localised infection (abscess, pericoronitis, acute apical infection)
- Tooth fracture involving the pulp
- Significant dental trauma (avulsion or luxation)
- Medically necessary dental treatment (i.e. prior to medical/surgical procedures)
All appointments are unfortunately cancelled until further notice. Once the regulations have been confirmed to operate as normal, our reception staff will be in contact with you. They will be in contact with you to reschedule all previously booked appointments with Dr Samuel Gidaro, Dr Nidhi Berera, Dr David Attia and hygienists to continue the care of your oral health.
Your health and safety are our top priority and we will keep you updated as more information comes to light. Be assured that we are taking all the necessary steps to help to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Thank you for your understanding and support during this time.
