Payment Plans & Options
Treatment is easier to plan for when you know how you can pay for it. These are the options available at The Dental Practice, including our own plan for orthodontic treatment, finance through third parties, early release of superannuation, and Medicare’s scheme for eligible children.
Approval, limits and fees for the third party options are set by those providers rather than by us. Each one links out so you can check their current terms before you apply.
Our own plan
In-house orthodontic payment plan
Available for eligible orthodontic treatment, including Invisalign, clear aligners and braces. Your full treatment fee is set out in your written treatment plan before anything begins.

Pay over time through a finance provider
You apply directly to the provider, and they decide whether to approve you and on what terms. We are not involved in that decision.
Afterpay
Splits the cost of treatment into instalments. Approval, spending limits, eligibility and any late fees are set by Afterpay.
Zip Pay
Suited to smaller balances. Account fees and repayment terms are set by Zip.
Zip Money
A separate product to Zip Pay, intended for larger balances, with its own structure and interest terms. Set by Zip.
humm
Spreads larger treatment costs over a longer term. Approval, fees and repayments are set by humm.
Total Lifestyle Credit
Finance arranged specifically for medical and dental treatment. Approval, rates and terms are set by TLC.
Superannuation
Early release of superannuation
Some patients apply to access their superannuation early on compassionate grounds to help fund dental treatment. Applications are assessed by the Australian Taxation Office, not by this practice, and approval is not guaranteed.
SuperCare assists patients through the application process and charges its own fees.
Accessing superannuation early reduces your retirement savings. We are not financial advisers and cannot tell you whether this is the right choice for you. Please consider getting independent financial advice first.
Medicare benefit program
Child Dental Benefits Schedule
Eligible children may be able to access dental care through the CDBS Medicare benefit program. We provide eligible CDBS services at our Burwood clinic, subject to Medicare eligibility and applicable item limits.
