Dr Nidhi Berera B.D.S (Melbourne)
Dr Nidhi Berera graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2001. She began her career working in a large private practice in Melbourne which focused on general dentistry. She practiced there for 5 years before moving to Sydney. Dr Berera joined the team at The Dental practice in early 2006. Dr Berera has a keen interest in Orthodontics and has completed further studies in this field in order to offer her patients a broader range of treatment. Being a general dentist, Dr Berera has found it easy to diagnose orthodontic problems in children early, as they come in for their regular preventative checks. This early diagnosis often leads to an easier course of orthodontics for children and teenagers. Having completed Invisalign training and lingual braces, Dr Berera can offer many aesthetic options to adults who tend to prefer these over traditional braces for aesthetic reasons. Dr Berera works closely with Dr Sam Gidaro and can provide many different alternatives to patients to help them achieve their ideal smile. She takes the time to engage with her patients in order to understand what is important to them, and then work with them to accomplish this goal.
